This artwork is a visual representation of my backyard growing up - the Nyinggulu. The large central circle represents Carnarvon, my home, with everything radiating outward from it. To the north, the blue textures reflect the vibrant coral coastline, alive with spirit, stories, and the essence of country. Woven through the artwork are the tracks of Kangaroo, Emu, Red-tailed Black Cockatoo, and Echidna, each symbolising the deep and lasting connection between the land, its people, and the animals that have journeyed across it for generations.
